Transformation is our Mission

Our Mission

Restore 6:34 uses the Bible to compassionately disciple the whole woman, supporting transformation from bondage to a lifestyle free in Christ.  Our focus is on the person as a whole, creating a new normal in her life.  We strive to consistently provide an environment of compassion centered around a biblical perspective.  Our goal is to help each individual renew her thinking through the power of God’s Word and the support of a community of believers.

We provide a home for formerly incarcerated women of the North Georgia and Chattanooga regions.  This ministry is desperately needed due to the high recidivism rate in the Walker, Catoosa, Dade, Chattooga, and Hamilton counties among women who have been incarcerated.  We provide a secure, drug-free, 24/7 sober living and in-patient rehabilitation facility for those fighting a former life of addiction.

We see in Mark 6:34 (our namesake) that the Lord had compassion for those who were like sheep without a shepherd, so He taught them many things.  This non-profit home requires accountability and demonstrates compassion using scripture and training to help the individual learn how to cooperate and apply God’s Word to daily living.  The home supports her relationship with Christ which does result in abundant life!
